*damaged / b-grade yardage* - Warm Winter Collection - Wheatgrass

*The dyers mishandled this colorway and there are strange mis-colorations throughout so I'm selling this as b-grade / damaged yardage. My hot tip is to order extra yardage for a project so you have enough to cut around any mis-colorations or perhaps overdye it a darker color. The mis-colorations are just darker areas that are sprinkled throughout the yardage. All block prints have small flaws but this was just ... too much.*

My team of artisans in India did all of the hard work for us and beautiful hand printed this exclusive fabric for the shop. The Warm Winter Collection features vertical lines (0.75 inches apart) of stitches for a clean and modern look. I am picturing cozy coats, pullovers, and dare I say it: quilted pants?! 

The weight is substantial but light enough to make a sweater, light jacket, vest and so on. It's lighter in weight than the quilted jacquards for example. 

Block printing dyes have a slight smell that will fade with washing but if you would like to speed up the process, include a cup of white vinegar when you pre-wash. You can also help to "set the dyes" if you want less fading by throwing in a handful of salt.
