Shipping:

Do you ship worldwide and how does it work?

Yes, we ship globally. At checkout, type in your address and country and the system will automatically calculate shipping, duties, and tariffs. 

How much is shipping?

Domestic/ USA: orders ship free with orders over $95 and there is a flat rate of $8 for orders under $95.

Global: We do ship internationally and shipping, taxes, duties etc will be calculated based on the weight and value of the order. 

What is your turnaround time?

Typically expect a 2 business day turnaround. During or after large sales or drops, the turnaround time increases to 3-5 business days (the website header will have wait times listed during surges). 

How long will it take for me to get my order?

Expect about 5-7 business days for shipping within the USA. International orders may take a few weeks or more.

Help! My order seems lost in the mail?

Yep, e-mail me (bethany@fluidplusdrape.com) and we will figure it out together. Please note that USPS won't refund me until the package has been undelivered for 30 days.

We are not responsible for stolen orders as we can't control the security of your porch.

Can you offer price adjustments / refunds if I recently bought a fabric that is now on sale?

No. We advise that you wait for your favorite fabric to hit the weekly sale bin refresh (refreshed every week on Friday) if you want a discounted price. We cannot offer price adjustments or refunds on past orders. 

Do you offer swatches?

Yes - please see "Swatch Request" page under the "About Us" tab on the navigation.

Do you offer returns?

No. All sales are final. 

However, if you are unhappy with your purchase please e-mail bethany@fluidplusdrape.com and we will find a solution.

Where are you based?

Eugene, Oregon, USA, on Kalapuya land. Just two hours south of Portland, OR. 

Do you have a physical storefront?

No, I do not have a traditional storefront - instead I have a small warehouse in West Eugene. Shopping is available by appointment.

1650 West 11th avenue, unit 1A, Eugene, OR 97402. Park in the lot and my unit is the last one on the right.

How can I shop in person?

Occasionally I do open-hours / remnant sales but feel free to reach out anytime to shop by appointment. Shopping by appointment is not as formal as it sounds, just reach out to make sure I'm in the shop / not buried in online orders :) 

Do you have sewing classes?

No, but we can recommend Fashion Clownette or The Circle Eugene for local classes and community events. Dreamery Fabric just opened in downtown Eugene and is a community hub for garment sewists. MECCA also has great classes and workshops. 

Do you offer local order pick up?

Yes - for customers in the Eugene / Springfield area. Typically we can get your order ready within 2 business days. Pick up is available from 10am-3pm on weekdays by appointment. Weekend/evening pick up is not available.

Select "local pick up" at checkout and the instructions will be sent to you and you'll be notified via e-mail when the order is ready to be picked up.

Are there any local sewing groups?

Yes! There are two local American Sewing Guild Willamette Valley groups, Sew Fit (garment focused) and Sew Fun (general sewing). There is a local free community sewing group on Facebook. Fashion Clownette has regular crafty gatherings. Using the hashtag #eugenesews you can also find local sewists to connect with on Instagram.

Do you offer wholesale?

For super small scale fashion designers (like you sew clothes and sell them but are a one person team) you can message me for custom wholesale discounts (typically up to 20% off) but its restricted to certain fabrics / yardage quantities. 

At this time, I am unable to offer wholesale yardage to fabric stores. 

I'm a print designer and I'm interested in doing a print run collaboration with your shop?

Cool! I only take on a few artists here and there so I can't guarantee I will have room for you but I am happy to look at your work and we can discuss further. Reach out at bethany@fluidplusdrape.com.
