Love&Linen - Gingham - Blue/Brown

Love&Linen is a collection of pure linens woven from European flax. These are stonewashed for extra softness but are wonderfully opaque and hard-wearing. 

Linen is known for being easy to sew with, and even easier to wear as it's super breathable and it actually softens and grows cozier with each wash and wear. It takes very little water to cultivate (unlike cotton) and it's one of the most eco friendly fibers on the market. I love the endless versatility of linen and how it can be dressed up or down but you will always feel like you are wearing #daytimepajamas. 

This midweight linen makes effortless casual pants, blouses, dresses, home goods and more. 

This gingham features a fun rectangular pattern instead of the traditional square gingham and each rectangle is 1.1" by 0.75" (2cm by 3cm) so you may want to cut your whole project in one direction or even play with contrasting directions. For example, you could make a dress and cut the bodice on the horizontal and the skirt on the vertical for subtle but satisfying contrast.
