Cotton Knit Interlock - Bright Berry

A deadstock gem from Bethany's recent adventure to LA's fashion district.

So this lovely knit fabric is an "interlock" meaning it is essentially two layers of fabric knit together. I love interlock because it is exceptionally smooth and soft, always perfectly opaque and is more substantial than your typical cotton jersey. Interlock is typically made with higher quality cotton yarns than jersey. This stunning rich pink-based purple really caught my eye.

I don't think this has spandex in it but interlock naturally has some recovery due to the structure of the knit. When I stretch it, it definitely bounces back into shape but I'm not sure how it will wear. With that said, this makes an excellent candidate for the Honeygirl pattern series.
