Indigo Bunnies - Indian Block Print on Organic Cotton

An adorable bunny print made with mud resist dying and natural indigo dye. Artisans in Jaipur, India, stamp mud prints of the bunnies and then dye the cloth in the indigo vats and then remove the mud to show the print. I loved how playful and sweet this print is.
This dreamily soft organic cotton is very lightweight and breathable. It has a crisp feeling, similar to cotton shirting. All block prints may have some slightly uneven dying/ printing which adds to the handmade charm.
Indie pattern designer Sydney Graham used this fabric to make her iconic Skyline Dress.

- Weight: 2.3 oz/yd² (lightweight)

Handmade in India
*Block printing dyes have a slight smell that will fade with washing but if you would like to speed up the process, include a cup of white vinegar when you pre-wash. Indigo dyes are also notorious for bleeding so wash with like colors, especially for the first few washes.
*block prints are also full of charming little imperfections as they are handmade*
