Bowie - Hey Sew Sister x Fluid + Drape - Indigo Organic Cotton

So...funny story - I had a crazy idea to collaborate with Georgie from HeySewSister, combining our aesthetics and using organic cotton with botanical indigo for a bow-themed print. We became online pals and developed this print together, realizing our shops are like sister shops despite being in different countries. Bowie is inspired by the femininity of the bow motif and was born from our new friendship 🎀

This dreamily soft organic cotton is very lightweight and breathable. It has a crisp feeling, similar to cotton shirting. All block prints may have some slightly uneven dying/ printing which adds to the handmade charm. 

Aria of @sewariasew on IG made the new Bee Bee Skirt by Me and Kiddo Patterns.

Shop owner Bethany made the Daily Dress by Cayden Naughton and used printed silk voile for the bodice and the cotton print for the skirt.

Georgie of Hey Sew Sister  made a self drafted tiered skirt that has adjustable drawstrings to lower or or lengthen the skirt.

• Content: 100% organic cotton
• Width: 51 inches 
• Weight: 2.3 oz/yd² (lightweight)
• Color: Indigo (a warm dark blue) and  white
• Care: Wash cold with like colors, with a handful of salt to prevent fading, on delicate cycle, lay flat to dry. Indigo is known to bleed like crazy, so separate for the first few washes.

*Block printing dyes have a slight smell that will fade with washing but if you would like to speed up the process, include a cup of white vinegar when you pre-wash. Indigo dyes are also notorious for bleeding so wash with like colors, especially for the first few washes.
