These striped linens reminded us of cozy transitional fall sewing and we fell in love with these moody and soft colorways. The narrow stripes are about 3/8" (1 cm) wide and the wider stripes are double that so about 3/4" (2 cm) wide.
Linen is known for being easy to sew with, and even easier to wear as it's super breathable and it actually softens and grows cozier with each wash and wear. It takes very little water to cultivate (unlike cotton) and it's one of the most eco friendly fibers on the market. I love the endless versatility of linen and how it can be dressed up or down but you will always feel like you are wearing #daytimepajamas. This linen is stonewashed for softness.
This midweight linen makes effortless casual pants, blouses, dresses, home goods and more.
Bethany and Aria (@sewariasew on IG) made matching outfits (yet again) and used the Ruffle Brunch top for their tops (Bethany, in Dusty Rose Linen) omitted the sleeves and did bias binding instead for a sleeveless look. Aria used the sleeve pattern and elongated it for long sleeves. They both used the Ninni Culottes and added a 2.5" ruffle to the hem.
