The Wes Gingham from Merchant and Mills is irresistibly adorable. It's such a unique and cute color combination - I have never seen this mustard and blush combination before and I love to shop for fabric. The fact that it's 100% linen also means it will be a treasured piece for years to come because linen is incredibly strong and gets softer with age. Check out some of our community makes from our sewing collaborators :)
This is Jodi from IG @isewatnaptime - check out her sewing feed for more inspiration! Jodi used 2 yards of Wes Gingham to make this adorable Gilbert Top by Helen's Closet. She is also wearing a Salida Skirt and Zoey Tank from the pattern designer True Bias.
We love Jodi's Wes Gingham make! Read more about her make here.
Lianne from IG @justsewsew also did a collaboration with us and chose to make this adorable set in the Wes Gingham. I love these collaborations show how the fabric drapes in different patterns and we can see how the fabric looks in various lighting. This fabric looks a lot brighter and more yellow in the sunshine and more pink in dark lighting - I have personally had a difficult time photographing it.
Lianne made the Laurance Top (View A) by Vivian Shao Chen and the Kelly Skirt (View D) by Megan Nielson Patterns. Her matching linen set is an absolute "set-tacular"! Read more about her pattern mods and experience here on her IG.
Lastly, here is a shot of me (Bethany) in my self-drafted culottes in Wes Gingham. I already posted about these on the blog but I'm including this photo to show how the fabric shifts in various lighting.
Are you daydreaming about the Wes Gingham linen?? If so, let us know in the comments what you would make with it! I can picture clothes, home décor, and even dreamy linen quilts 😍
