This deadstock rayon fleece from Los Angeles is certainly unique with a contrasting combination of grey and white threads. The threads make up a herringbone pattern that reminds me of vintage tweed jackets and is nothing like the usual loungewear fabrics I usually parse through. It's super heavy and thick and has barely any stretch so it could be used for woven patterns and possibly for knit patterns too if the pattern is designed for a heavy weight knit (like the Marlo Cardigan - see link below).

The top side of the fabric features the herringbone pattern and is backed by a soft and plush fleece on the inside. We love the deliciously "slubby" texture of the knit side and how thick and cozy this fleece is.

The example garment was sewn up by shop owner, Bethany, and is the Wren Fleece by Daughter Judy. This fabric is perfect for showing off the shape of this unique sweatshirt.
