We teamed up with sustainable slow fashion designer Tsia Carson of Language of the Birds to bring you these exclusive art-driven prints!
Tsia Carson writes this about her print:
"Rainbow harkens back to the super graphics of the 1970s- thank the heavens for Barbara Stauffacher Solomon. The twists and turns of the rainbows wink at us, when is happiness a straightforward proposition?
Although this print is infused with nostalgia its outrageous scale and the full use of the spectrum could only be made now digitally. It uses pigment to explain light. Its transparency between layers of rainbows suggest luminosity instead of color."
Printed on EcoVero rayon, this gives you the swoosh-factor of rayon but was produced more sustainbly than traditional rayon. EcoVero rayon used less than half the water than traditional rayon production and the wood pulp comes from sustainably managed forests. "Challis" means the fabric is lightweight, soft, and smooth. I love rayon challis for a drapey dress but you can also make swishy / comfy pants or a dreamy skirt or blouse.
