This color is jaw dropping and I was told by the deadstock dealer that this is Italian designer deadstock and is very high end. It is smooth and thick, heavy weight, with a very stiff drape. This is Melton wool, a type of wool coating that is highly sought after for it's warmth and durability. Melton wool frays minimally if at all, since it's so dense and almost-fully-felted.
