Introducing the Indigo Plaid Linen Cotton, designed and produced in Japan in the Banshu region. Banshu-ori fabrics are textiles which are dyed and woven in the historical region of Banshu in Hyogo. The town in modern times is known as Nishiwaki City, and the locals have preserved the yarn dyeing and weaving techniques from the early 1700s. You can read more about Banshu-ori here.
The threads of the Banshu-ori fabric are dyed before being woven, giving the fabric a deep color and soft texture.
Its linen and cotton blend has a pleasant thickness that is perfect for sewing up garments, tote bags, and cushion covers, scarves, among other DIY and sewing projects.
